Colorado Springs Real Estate Guy is my personal website. It is my outlet to convey facts, advice, market data, and thoughts.
Buying or selling a home is the single largest transaction most Americans undertake in their lifetime and you should know you are in experienced hands. I am ranked among the top ERA agents nationwide with regards to sales volume and have been a full time professional Realtor since 2002. I attribute my success to excellence in service, an innovative and comprehensive approach to marketing listings, superior research, analytical skills, and being a man of my word.
My philosophy on real estate is simple; Clients first. In advising clients through a real estate transaction, I prefer to take a holistic approach which considers factors including; commute, lifestyle, budget, recreation, appreciation potential, and family needs. When reviewing these factors together, it does not always make sense for a client to buy or sell a home. Also, at times it makes sense for a client to buy less home instead of more: Just because you can afford it, doesn’t mean you should. Since real estate is a 100% commission business, at times the course of action I recommend will negatively impact my income. I take pride in my integrity and gladly make those recommendations knowing that I am investing in long term relationships and not a single transaction.
On the personal side, I am a fitness enthusiast, hiker, runner, cyclist, skier, and golfer (and budding guitarist). My wife Suzette and I enjoy an active lifestyle that includes quite a bit of travel. Also, I am a professional photographer (which comes in handy when taking pictures of homes), If you would like to see some of my photography, you can check out www.olsonphotographer.com.
On the philanthropic side, In 2008, I was elected Chairman of the Economic Development Corporation’s Marketing Committee where I served for 2 years. During that time, I helped grow the citizen participation from 15 members to over 135 members and created 7 sub teams to help focus efforts on different strengths of our city. My goal continues to be to help the Colorado Springs community which I love so much have more citizen participation, beautify our already gorgeous city, and grow our economy with high paying jobs.
I would enjoy the opportunity to speak with you about any questions you have concerning real estate. If you need a Realtor to represent you through a transaction, I would appreciate the opportunity to earn your business.
