Cherished as a local landmark for many years, this stone building was originally the home of the Starsmore family. It now serves as an introduction to the Cheyenne Canyon Area and all the hikes, rock formations, waterfalls and wildlife that it has to offer.
Free to enter, the Nature center provides informative exhibits about the wildlife, maps of the numerous trails and hikes available, and even has a junior ranger program. There are even some walking trails leaving straight from the nature center that follow the river nearby. It is recommended to stop by on your way up the canyon if only to grab a map of the trails in the area.
